What time can I check in and out?

At C-Hotels Helios check-in is scheduled from 14:00.
At C-Hotels Continental, C-Hotels Andromeda, C-Hotels Zeegalm, C-Hotels Excelsior, C-Hotels Burlington and C-Hotels Cocoon check-in is from 15:00 onwards.

If you have already arrived earlier, you may check in at reception. We can already store your luggage for you. You can check in online in advance so that the check-in process can be carried out smoothly. We ask our guests to leave their room before 11:00. Earlier check-in is possible if our occupancy permits. Please contact us the day before your arrival or on the day itself in the morning to ask if you can check in earlier.

You will pass by the reception for the check-out. If you wish, you can also make use of the online check-out. On the day of departure, you can leave your luggage at the hotel for collection later in the day. In this way, you can still enjoy your last day of your holiday to the full.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation through various channels.
For the best rates and conditions, book through the C-Hotels website.
A credit card is required to make a reservation through our website.

If you wish, you can make your reservation by e-mail or over the phone.

Can I make a reservation without a credit card?

If you do not have a credit card, you can pay for your booking by bank transfer. It is not possible to pay by bank transfer when booking online, only when booking by telephone or e-mail. The reservation must be made at least one week in advance and the amount must be transferred to the hotel account within 48 hours. In case of a last-minute reservation, we ask you to send us the proof of payment immediately after transferring the money, this way your reservation is also guaranteed.

How can I change or cancel a reservation?

Please contact Reception by telephone or e-mail. We will check whether your reservation can be changed or cancelled at that time, depending on the booking conditions that apply to your reservation. Cancellation policies vary according to the rate you have selected. You can find all information about the cancellation policy on your booking confirmation. If you have made a non-refundable reservation, you cannot cancel or change your booking under any circumstances. If you have not made a direct reservation, but via booking.com or another channel, and you wish to change or cancel your reservation? Then you must contact the channel where you made the booking. They will advise you further on the possible steps to take.

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Dogs are allowed in:
C-Hotels Andromeda with a supplement of € 20 per dog per night. (except in the Andromeda Suite)
C-Hotels Continental, C-Hotels Excelsior and C-Hotels Zeegalm with a supplement of € 15 per dog per night.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area.

Dogs are not allowed in C-Hotels Burlington, C-Hotels Cocoon and C-Hotels Helios.

How do I book with a voucher or gift card?

If you have a voucher or gift certificate, please contact the hotel reception directly. Your voucher can only be used for a direct booking. It is not possible to use a voucher or gift card for reservations through booking.com, Expedia or other online travel agents.

Until what time can I check in?

Our 4-star hotels are open 24/24 and 7/7.
In our 3-star hotels, we provide late check-in after the reception desk closes.


Please contact the hotel if you cannot check in before closing time.
It is also possible that one of our employees contacts you by phone or by e-mail. You will receive the necessary explanation and code to open the hotel safe.
The day after check-in, please report to reception to arrange the rest of the formalities for your stay.

How can I reach C-Hotels Helios?

By car:
When entering Blankenberge (coming from Bruges E40) you pass the station of Blankenberge, take the 2nd street on your left (sign direction centre), follow the Marie-Josélaan and the Malecotstraat till the Charlierhelling, drive up till the Zeedijk. On the Zeedijk turn left, 700 m further you will find Hotel Helios, Zeedijk 92.

Attention: in July and August cars are not allowed on the Zeedijk, then you can reach hotel Helios via the Weststraat (see Parking hotel).

By public transport:

Train: take the train to Blankenberge station.
Tram: get off at the stop Blankenberge Market. From there it is a 5 minute walk to hotel Helios.

On foot:

From the station you walk through the Kerkstraat (shopping street) opposite the station, at the end you take the stairs to the top of the Zeedijk, there you walk on the left for another 5 minutes to hotel Helios, Zeedijk 92.

By taxi:

Taxis are always available to the right of the station, a trip takes about 5 minutes. A taxi ride costs about €8 one way from the station to the hotel. For special requests call our taxi partners.

Is there a car park at C-Hotel Helios?

C-Hotels Helios has a private underground car park. You must make a reservation for your parking space in advance. Price for a parking spot is € 20 per car/per night. Large cars probably do not fit in the garage, please inform the reception with your brand/model. Parking is possible from check-in until check-out. Our parking is wheelchair accessible, however the entrance and parking spaces are rather narrow. On the Zeedijk there are also disabled parking spaces (except for July and August).

From the parking -2 there is a lift to the reception on the ground floor and to your room. If you need help, the receptionists are happy to assist you with your luggage. It is allowed to park (paying) in front of the Helios hotel on the Zeedijk from September to June, between July 1 and August 31 this is not allowed.

The entrance to the parking lot is located at the back of the Helios hotel, at the beginning of the Franchommelaan (opposite house no. 9). Registration by phone at no. 050.42.90.20 (reception) or via the registration button.

There are no electrical charging spaces in the car park.

If there is no space left in the Helios hotel car park, we recommend you park in one of the public car parks in the vicinity of the Helios hotel. Some possibilities: "DB Jachthaven", the Grote Markt or street parking (€2.00/per hour between 9am and 7pm). During the summer months more choice is available, see Parking by the sea

Are there bicycle facilities in C-Hotels Helios?

The limited number of bicycle parking spaces are by reservation only. However, you need to lock your bicycle at all times as all hotel guests have access to our car park.

There is no charging point for electric bicycles. You can charge removable batteries in your room.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

At C-Hotels Andromeda, C-Hotels Burlington, C-Hotels Continental, C-Hotels Excelsior, C-Hotels Helios breakfast is included in the room rate.

At C-Hotels Cocoon and C-Hotels Zeegalm breakfast is not included in the room rate.

What are the sauna and fitness hours?

The sauna and fitness are open daily from 16:00 to 20:00.

Can I check out later? And is there a surcharge for this?

A late check-out is only possible if availability permits.
A supplement of €40 will be charged.
For a late check-out, please ask at reception the day before your departure if this is possible.

Is it possible to put an extra bed in the room?

It is not possible to put an extra bed in the room. If you want to stay with three or four people, you can book a family room.

Can I extend my stay?

If there is availability, this is certainly possible. Ask at reception for the possibility and the best price.

Can a baby bed be reserved?

You can reserve a baby bed in advance at a supplement of 12,50 euro per night per baby bed. You can mention this in the reservation, or book at a later time.
